Blackpool Open Tournament October 14th 2001

Another good day for the BKA. Blackpool will remain our regular venue for 2002, the location and facilities are excellent and we look forward to two more tournaments next year.

Referees, as usual, worked hard all day, I also did my fair share and witnessed some terrific bouts. The categories we've used this year will now be assessed, which may mean that some will be discarded and others introduced.

We are currently putting together a definitive BKA rule book which should be up and running by the time we do our first tournament.
